The volunteer spirit is strengthened by the
warmth and support offered by members and representatives
of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Executive Women International
in our community. Leadership skills are developed and
challenged by each representative's
involvement. Relationships developed within the community
broaden members' knowledge and expertise.
EWI chose literacy as its philanthropic project focusing on
the international need for improved communications in a
global economy.
Recent philanthropic beneficiaries of our chapter include various
events and activities in support of Holy Family Institute, one
of our member firms.
The Pittsburgh Chapter also commits scholarship funds in
direct assistance to adults in transitional situations who
need funding or assistance to achieve their career goals
at institutions of higher education.
Congratulations to Anna Ryjkova, student at Duquesne University,
for winning this year's ASIST scholarship.
